Here are some of the success stories from this year’s A-Level Results Day.
Anisa was one of our top performing students, achieving A*, A and B. She has secured an apprenticeship with Ernst Young and is delighted with her results. Farhaan received an incredible set of three As and plans to take a gap year in order to enhance his application to study Medicine next year.
Head Boy Oliver attained A, B, C and will continue on with an apprenticeship at BAE, Naeema will be heading off to do her first choice of Dentistry at Manchester and Luke will be studying Psychology in Newcastle, after securing a fantastic A*, A, A and C.
The results listed here and the projected career paths of these individuals highlight the Academy’s tailored support for all students. Groups such as the MDV/MedSoc, the HE+ and the HAP help to develop students with an extra layer of informed preparation, regardless of their intended career.
Several of these students have already agreed to return in the coming year to advise our new cohort of Year 13 students, who will be pondering destinations and processing their own applications. This year’s trial was a great success, as students returned to share their own stories and offered some valuable tips for their younger counterparts. The idea of ‘giving back’ is one which is laced through the Academy, right from the lower years and it is great to see students continue this as they leave.
The Academy would like to congratulate all students receiving their results today and wishes each of them great success in their next venture.
