St Wilfrid’s C of E Academy have this morning been celebrating both the collective and individual efforts from their Class of 2023. The Academy would like to congratulate all students, who have worked so well and fought so hard for their results.
A number of students received a remarkable full set of grade 8 and 9s. Roukéya Diallo, who achieved an incredible 9 Grade 9s was ecstatic with her results, saying “There was a lot of pressure but the support system throughout school has helped me feel like I could do it and now I have proven it to myself.”
Another student with a phenomenal set of results was Libby Frazer. She said “I’m a little overwhelmed... It’s been a great journey but the hard work has paid off and I’ve realised that anything really is possible. Thank you to all the teachers who have helped me so much!”
St Wilfrid’s is delighted with the accomplishments that their students have made during their time at the Academy. They have shown outstanding effort and resilience throughout the years, leaning on the incredible support from teachers and parents/carers and navigating their way to this success.
The Academy would like to wish all of their students the very best for the future and looks forward to welcoming many of them back next year as they continue their educational journey in the Sixth Form.
