This year’s St Wilfrid’s Day service was a great success, with the rain holding off just long enough to make it to the Cathedral!
All students from Years 7, 9, 11, 12 and 13 lined the streets as we continued on the tradition of walking from the Academy, through the streets of Blackburn to the Cathedral in town. It is always such a marvellous sight to see so many of our students walking in unison through the community.
Once inside, we enjoyed a wonderful service led by Rev Julian Henderson, Bishop of Blackburn. Music, Drama and Dance students helped to lead elements of the worship.
Thanks to Grace (Year 12) for helping capture a fantastic morning.
