We couldn’t think of a better way to cap-off this year of celebrations, than by having a good ol’ fashioned street party!
We brought back ‘bat-the-rat’ and a coconut shy, amongst many other carnival classics, to give our students a fun-filled afternoon. Each student had the chance to take part in a selection from over 20 stalls and activities, with the winners then getting a chance of a prize on the prize board.
The morning also saw us rewinding the clock on some lessons for Key Stage 3 students as they got to sample what it was like to learn in school 50 years ago. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and the perfect way to celebrate the end of this special year.
