Parent Information

ParentPay

ParentPay is an easy-to-use online system for processing payments for items such as uniform, dinners and trips. Payments can be made by credit/debit card or also through PayPoint, with full payment history and statements available to you at anytime. You can maintain your balance by setting up email/sms alerts when it is low. To get started, we will send you an account username and password, with instructions included in the letter sent home.

ParentPay Shop

The ParentPay shop is a new facility to enable parents to purchase specific ad-hoc items, such as Clothing, iPad accessories, DVDs of events, Stationery items and Locker Keys.

School Synergy is a system to help manage/report aspects of school life including behaviour, attendance & communication.

PODs

PODs are the pastoral hubs of the Academy and are the central point of contact for any issues regarding student welfare. For Key Stages 3 and 4, there is a joint POD next to the LRC, which includes Assistant Principals, Heads of Years, Student Support/Child Protection Officers and Admin staff. Pastoral care for Years 7-8 is overseen by the KS3 staff, for Years 9, 10 and 11 it is the KS4 staff, and for Sixth Form (Years 12-13) it is the KS5 staff.

ParentView (Ofsted)

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until a school is being inspected.
